Leaderene - The Book

Leaderene – Feminine Principled Leadership is a book of our times. The world is made up of male and female energies. The more aggressive and self-seeking male energy has dominated for centuries.  Now there is a growing acceptance that the old ways of management and leadership based on command and control are no longer working in the global village that we now live in. The power and strength of female energy whose qualities are nurturing,intuition and creativity are increasingly being felt.

Leaderene is the culmination of 20 years personal experience of leading, motivating and mobilising people to achieve remarkable results, often in the face of insurmountable odds, and challenges. It brings together the wealth of my people management and leadership experience with cutting edge research into the habits of successful leaders, to create a route map of what it takes to transform yourself into an inspirational leader that attracts willing followers.

The leadership qualities of the 21st century of necessity will be ones based on nurturing, empowerment, contribution, collaboration, team work, creativity, valuing diversity, integrity and spirituality. Theses are qualities that play to the natural strengths of women, but can be learned and developed in men.

We are much more interdependent on each other than we used to be; what happens in one part of the world, impacts on the lives of people living in another part of the world. Learning to live and work together in harmony, is a prerequisite for our continued survival. What is now required is a new world order of inclusive, and humanitarian leadership, where we put aside personal and national interests, to serve the needs of the entire planet, and not just the piece of earth that we happen to reside in.

This may seem like the soft stuff, but it actually requires more skill, courage and ability to negotiate with others to find a win/win solutions, than it does to use brute force to get your own way. Particularly as those who were once bullied and exploited, are now growing in strength and confidence and becoming a force to be reckoned with in their own right.

The leaders of tomorrow will be men and women who have made the transition from left brain, logical, ego dominated thinking into the right brain, intuitive, feeling and feminine aspect that is connected to the soul of humanity.

These visionary leaders will be sustained by the inner light of their personal truth, driven by the desire to serve others, rather than the ego or personal gain.

The essence of their being is the living of the eternal truth that what we do to others, we are doing to ourselves.  To achieve happiness, contentment and prosperity for ourselves, we must help others to become happy, content and prosperous.
