LeaderGen is playing a key strategic role in forging a new partnership for prosperity with the Liberian Embassy in London to drive the rapid economic growth of Liberia, a country with a great range of natural resources.
The new partnership will mobilise the best efforts of donor agencies, the business & investment community, NGOs, Liberians living in London and the wider African Diaspora to create a powerhouse to enable Liberia to trade its way out of poverty
LeaderGen is working with Liberian Ambassador, His Excellency Wesley Johnson and his senior management team, to strengthen their effectiveness in delivering key economic, trade & investment goals to accelerate the transformation of Liberia into a wealth generating economy.
London is the investment capital of the world, and the Embassy is therefore strategically well placed to become an important engine house for wealth generation to benefit Liberia and all its people.
The focus of the first phase of this institutional capacity building programme, is the development of a strategic plan aligned to the policy objectives of the Liberian Government in Monrovia, and the development of an effective communications strategy, to promote the attractiveness of Liberia as a destination of choice for private investors. As well as the lobbying of donor agencies and the UK government for further debt relief.
This project is being led by LeaderGen CEO by CEO Marilyn Comrie, and senior associate, Graeme Thomas.
Speaking after the delivery of the first strategy planning workshop, Ambassador Johnson expressed the belief that this was a defining moment in Liberia’s history.
A strategic action plan has been drawn up, and LeaderGen's associates will assist the ambassador and his top team in delivering key goals and targets.
