Leadergen’s CEO Marilyn Comrie, was among 200 of the UK’s most outstanding women who were recognised by Her Majesty The Queen at a special reception at Buckingham Palace in February 2007. Marilyn was joined by other women achievers such as supermodel Elle Macpherson and Jacqueline Gold, boss of the Ann Summers chain for the prestigious event.
The female members of the Royal household also attended and included the Duchess of Cornwall, the Princess Royal, Prince Edward’s wife, Sophie Wessex and the Duchess of Gloucester.
Marilyn was delighted to receive this honour and recognition, from a woman whom she has long admired. 
"The Queen is a great role model. She has presided over a period of enormous change during her rule, and has displayed immense integrity, self assurance and dignified leadership. She is a great example of female centred, inclusive leadership, which works in collaboration and partnership with others to create light, not heat; unity and not divisions".
